Visualising early life on Earth: A 4D reconstruction of the Dresser Formation, Pilbara, WA

Tara Djokic is a PhD candidate at the Australian Centre for Astrobiology of the University of New South Wales Australia. Her research interests include astrobiology and science education, which has led to her PhD project that combines geological observations of early evidence of life in the c. 3.5 Ga Dresser Formation in Western Australia with virtual reality technology to produce a scientific educational tool in the form of a virtual field trip. Tara is also passionate about using art and music to showcase scientific ideas as a means to foster public interest and provide an alternative cultural perspective on science to a wider audience.
